The project is deploying SAMBRO in Maldives and the Philippines with a grant made possible through the [http://www.unescap.org/disaster-preparedness-fund UNESCAP Trust Fund for Tsunami, Disaster and Climate Preparedness]. The project will be implemented in collaboration with the Maldives National Disaster Management Center (NDMC) and the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, , and  between January 2015 and June 2016 (18 months).
