Moreover, it adopts the CAP standard for Sahana to interoperate with other warning systems.

1. Cultivate CAP Stewardship and a Community of Practice in Asian and the Pacific Region
1. Make the SAMBRO a superior Sahana product developed and maintained by a Sahana Center for Excellence at Asian Institute of Technology Geoinformatics Centre 
1. Provide training aids for system administrators, implementers, emergency managers, and other users to easyly adopt SAMBRO into their emergency communication practices
1. SAMBRO to function as stand alone computing application on any computing device (e.g. laptop and an IVR or GSM-modem) as well as hosted on an intranet or the internet
