The project is a partnership between [http://www.geoinfo.ait.ac.th/ '''Asian Institute of Technology Geoinformatics Center'''] and the Sahana Software Foundation. It involves deploying SAMBRO in Maldives and the Philippines with a USD 200,000 grant made possible through the [http://www.unescap.org/disaster-preparedness-fund UNESCAP Trust Fund for Tsunami, Disaster and Climate Preparedness]. The project will be implemented in collaboration with the [http://ndmc.gov.mv/ Maldives National Disaster Management Center] (NDMC) and the [http://pagasa.dost.gov.ph/ Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Atmospheric Services Administration] (PAGASA), between January 2015 and June 2016 (18 months).
