Unless using mod_rewrite for this, you can provide {{{favicon.ico}}} & {{{robots.txt}}} via
{{{web2py/routes.py}}} (copy {{{routes.example.py}}} & edit)

NB Current versions come in 'Debug' mode.[[BR]]
If you want to improve performance then go to [http://127.0.0.1:8000/sahana/appadmin/update/db/default_setting/1 appadmin] & deselect the Debug option.

If you wish to disable Self-Registration:
 * Remove the link from the menu in layout.html
 * Disable the function in controllers/default.py
