v28 v29 63 63 *This describes how the doctor or staff member will interact with the patient being treated to collect data. 64 64 65 1. The doctor or staff on duty in the triage zone will collect data from the patient. The first step the doctor will determine the triage status of the patient and then take a photograph and input the patients name, age, race, sex and triage status into the computer. The doctor or staff on duty in this zone will scan the patient’s wrist- tag and collect personal and contact data along with vital signs from the patient. The doctor will then give a relevant diagnoses and classification of the patient. Any lab data or emergency interventions will be recorded at this time. The doctors will be able to track the patients from their wrist- tag.
