VITA Framework

Overview

VITA is a software application framework for the handling of person-related information in emergency management. It defines a set of data structures, interfaces and interoperability features to be implemented by EM software applications.

Components

VITA defines:

  • an extensible data model for person-related information
  • a set of functions to request and manipulate person-related data
