PAGASA is implementing the "CAP on a MAP project that will bring about improving institutional responsiveness to coastal hazards through cross- Agency situational-awareness”. The project involves the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand and the Sahana Software Foundation, USA.
The main goal of the project is to augment the capacities of the national agencies for issuing early warnings, especially using the Common Alerting Protocol all-hazard all-media interoperability standard.
