    1313The Workshop is designed for participants to be exposed to the concepts and procedures for implementing the CAP warning standard in support of enhanced cross-agency situational-awareness. They will receive hands-on training using the CAP-enabled the Sahana Alerting and Messaging Broker1 software. The learning objective is for the participants to realize the importance of implementing the interoperable CAP warning standard, in their nations, for improving the coordination of cross-border, national and local warnings. The workshop is free to attend and open for all (novices and experts) interested in understanding how CAP and Sahana is making a difference in crisis and emergency management.
