Data

We provide a repository of data formatted to be easily imported into Sahana Eden:

OpenSteetMap has much Open Data which we can use as either Tiles (basemap) or Vector overlays:

Aerial (including Satellite) Imagery can be used as a basemap:

Tools

We recommend these tools:

• ​GDAL - Convert between raster formats
• ​OGR - Convert between vector formats
• ​Quantum GIS - Preview datasets in a UI
• ​PostGIS - Spatial storage
• ​GeoServer - WMS, WFS
